Ashley Hurt is an excellent example of Tellis Educational Services Pride! She is hard working, kind, and has a positive attitude. She goes above and beyond to make sure her work is done. Ms. Hurt has a very strong work ethic and takes initiative to help others as needed. She is attentive in class, contributes to class discussions, and is always present during her online/remote sessions. Ms. Halaisia Curry

Halaisia Curry is an excellent example of Tellis Educational Services Pride! She is hard working, kind, and has a positive attitude. She goes above and beyond without being prompted. Halaisia has a very strong work ethic and takes initiative to help others as needed. Ms. Curry is attentive in class, contributes to class discussions, and is always present during her online/remote sessions. Though there are many challenges to this year, Halaisia has handled herself with grace. She is an exemplar student and possesses the character traits of a great scholar.

Tanisha Streeter is an exemplary student within the program. On the first day of class, she let it be known that this would be her first stop, not her last. Every class session, she displays a level of tenaciousness that only a few can demonstrate. Brenda Underwood (Online Student)

Brenda Underwood (Online Student) Tellis Educational Services student Mrs. Brenda Underwood will graduate this spring with her high school diploma along with fifty-one other students in the program. Mrs. Underwood has been selected as the Tellis Educational Services Spotlight student of the month. If you believe in what you are doing, then let nothing hold you up in your work. Much of the best work of the world has been done against seeming impossibilities. The thing is to get the work done. Mrs. Underwood did just that, she got the work done. We are so proud of you. Mrs. Underwood is a great person inside and out, hardworking student who looks to be challenged and gets along well with just about everyone around her. I look forward to seeing her progress. Jazmine Yancey

The student of the week is Jazmine Yancey, which does not come as a surprise to anyone. Jazmine is beyond determined, stellar personality, and is brilliant! All these components create a perfect student. It has been a privilege to be a part of her journey and witness the greatness that she embodies. There is a quote by Shirley Chisholm that describes the grit she has "If they don't give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair." He takes learning seriously, and always comes to class prepared and ready to work. In the classroom, Mr. Pendleton advocate for himself and others, making sure he never puts his needs above other peers.
